Wow. I cant believe it. I've succumb to the pressures of the "blogosphere" and i'm finally writing my very first blog. Its not like i'm some kind of hippie non-conformist or something...its just that up to now, i really didnt see the point in blogging. But lately i've just been so caught up in reading so many interesting blogs, that I figured "hey, i might as well start my own and see if I actually can commit enough time to make it matter." So here it is. Blog # 1 in what, hopefully, will be the first of many in the months to come. Now, i'm not going to really talk about the extremely personal stuff like family, love life, etc. Thats just not my style (although I dont see anything wrong with that at all if people choose to talk about that sort of thing), I just have a pretty small, almost non-existant circle of people who I share those details with, and it will remain that way. When I say love life, i mean "i was making out w/this chick on thursday and then..." Nope. None of that from me...but I will definitely go over some things like the thought process behind the endless hoops that men and women jump through to impress each other and get each other's attention. What I will talk about though, are the things that pertain to my every day life, and if you're reading this, probably pertain to yours as well. Entertainment, the current state of music, technology, women (chick logic is something i've been really talking about alot w/my boys lately), upcoming artists you've probably never heard of (but soon will), my events, touring, etc. So if you're interested in any of that sort of thing, i guess this will be the job for you. YES, the blog is titled "Maysonet's Diatribe..." but that doesnt mean i'm going to go off on some verbal barrage on things that make me mad all the time. Just sometimes  Also, if you see some things that can make my blog better (i'm still trying to figure out what the hell a "tag" is), then by all means, holla at me!! Thats it for now, i have work to do. But again, if this looks like crap its only because i'm still learning. Give me some time, and hopefully this will become a nice little hub for the exchanging of thoughts and ideas (and phone #'s, ladies *wink wink*) Aight i'm done... Maysonet |
